Description:
This artwork of mine from the project "W Sant'Agata - Catania in Pop Art" tells the story of Pier Paolo Pasolini, an Italian poet, writer, director, screenwriter, actor and playwright who arrived in Catania in 1959,
the city where I was born and raised and between the baroque that he defined as "fleshy" and cultural salons he fell in love with it so much that he bought a house there. "Pasolini in Catania" also talks about my house,
Stesicoro square, where I spent part of my life nearby.
How many memories, among the comics purchased at that newsstand I discovered Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and all the wonders of the MARVEL world drawn by the great John Romita Sr.
to whom I dedicate this and other projects of mine. I could define "Pasolini in Catania"
the true home of my emotions.
